NEW HERE?
We can't wait to meet you! It doesn't matter your age or life story - you are welcome at JFA.
We know showing up somewhere new can be a bit overwhelming so we want to make it as easy as possible for you. Our hope is that you feel a part of the family from the moment you walk in. We promise not to give you awkward hugs when you come in though.
What you can expect is one of our friendly greeters to gladly show you where you can drop your kids off, lead you the coffee and donuts, and help make sure you are comfortable. We won't make you stand up and wave in service but we do ask that you fill out one of the connect card and toss it into the offering basket. That's not too bad right? Fun fact: for every connect card turned in we donate $5 to Comfort Closets.
COMMON QUESTIONS
WHAT SHOULD I WEAR?
Clothes. That's all we ask. But if you are wondering what kind to wear we are pretty casual. Pastor Austin usually preaches in jeans.
HOW LONG IS THE SERVICE?
Our services usually last about an hour and a half.
WHAT IS AVAILABLE
FOR MY KIDS?
We have an exciting KIDS service and age appropriate classes over in our KIDS center - yes, a building just for KIDS complete with a slide because who wants to walk down the stairs?! We have something fun for newborns through 5th grade.
WHERE DO I GO WHEN I GET THERE?
Come on in the double doors in the front. One of our friendly - but not the awkward stranger hug kind of friendly - will greet you. They will be happy to show you where the coffee and donuts are hiding, direct your kids to the fun, and even help find you a seat.

FRIENDLY FACES YOU MIGHT MEET

DAN & JILL NICOLL
Hi. We've been married 42 years and have been blessed with 3 kids and 10 grandkids. Our life has been an incredible adventure since we both fell in love with Jesus as kids. We bought a weekend lake house in the area several years ago and found ourselves never wanting to leave. We moved here permanently in 2017 and struggled to find a church. We came to JFA to check it out and immediately felt at home. We love serving here at JFA but you can also find us riding our Razor, traveling, fishing, and enjoying the outdoors.
mike & marsha moore
Mike has been a high school head baseball coach for 30+ years and Marsha is in her 30th year as a regional business manager for the northeast district of the Oklahoma State Department of Health. Together, we have 4 children and 1 grandson. We enjoy the outdoor adventures of going camping, hiking, and biking. Jay First Assembly has always been my (Marsha) home church as my family has years of history there. My dad served as a deacon for many years. We love JFA because EVERYONE is welcome and EVERYONE is truly welcomed into our family!
